Quack, quack

This is what passes for a village pond in Purton!A long streak of water with two (tractor?) wheels behind it and a safety rail in front. No pavement to walk past though, just the road that goes through the village. But I was amazed to see these little plastic ducks are still there (click on the pic for a better view). Some wag placed them there months ago and I must admit I haven't really looked at them since, but they are still there today. The real ducks come and go and the ducklings made driving very entertaining way back in the spring!
