I've made a new tea cosy. I need to make a cafetiere cosy too, but that will have to wait for another day....
I like doing lots of intense quilting using a 80% cotton wadding called 'Warm and White' (which I get it from Doughtys). I don't wash the wadding before I use it, but always put it in the washing machine to shrink it slightly after the item has been made. This is how I achieve my own version of the vintage look.
