Granny Kandy has been busy......

Debbie Bliss Cashmerino striped beany hat
It's too big for  Miss E at the moment, so I made a pink version, still using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino, loads of wool left over, so I made a tiny pair of mittens too.

High contrast cot quilt:
I thought this binding needed a little something
So I added some yellow cord:

The finished high contrast cot quilt.

  1. Hi Kandy I love the yellow edge you've added - is it cord or fabric? I'd love to know how you did it!

  2. the hat and mittens are so cute, and tiny, and kind of Pink! I thought you weren't into pink.
And the yellow cord around the quilt is also very nice. I didn't think there was anything missing before, but I like it now even more.

  3. The 'cord' is a piece of Perle embroidery cotton Zig-zagged down with a matching thread. So simple yet I think so effective.

Oh, I'm into pink, but Chic Girl and the Whizz Kid are not! I tease them about buying a huge Barbie pink, plastic 'dream' castle for Emmeline - Mwwahahahaha, but that would be their idea of a nightmare gift, So maybe I won't!
